Join us to discover the building blocks of the Mexican kitchen: chiles, herbs, spices, maíz, masa, beans, and other pantry staples. In this hands-on session you will:
- Roast and blend salsas from scratch
- Press fresh corn tortillas
- Learn how a handful of essential ingredients create extraordinary flavor
You’ll leave knowing what to stock, how to use it, and how to cook Mexican food with confidence at home.
Your instructor is Elisa Sanwick of The Trailing Apron. Her mobile cooking classes have traveled with her through the diplomatic community, most recently to Amman, Jordan, where she taught Mexican cuisine to an international audience.
