Located in Savannah’s historic district, Coastal Table and Tales is Georgia’s only dedicated culinary bookstore—and so much more. We are a cooking workshop, event space, and gathering place built around three things we hold dear: cookbooks, cuisine, and community.

What I loved most about my nearly two decades living and cooking abroad was the way food connected people across cultures, traditions, and tables. At Coastal Table and Tales, we bring that spirit home to Savannah—through curated cookbooks, hands-on workshops, and gatherings that celebrate the flavors and stories that make us who we are.

Through our classes and events—ranging from author signings and chef demonstrations to market tours, themed dinners, and hands-on cooking workshops—we bring these stories to life. Local chefs, authors, and artisans come together here, while food lovers from all walks of life gather to learn, savor, and connect. You can expect Coastal Table and Tales events to be held at the shop and partner locations.
