Join Coastal Table and Tales for an unforgettable evening with Sallie Ann Robinson — sixth-generation Daufuskie Island native, Gullah Geechee cookbook author, and James Beard Foundation Lifetime Achievement award-winner.

Sallie Ann will prepare her signature shrimp and tater salad live, and guests will get to sample it fresh, while she shares stories from her life on Daufuskie Island and the rich culinary traditions of Gullah Geechee culture. This is a rare chance to hear firsthand history and heritage from one of the culture's most celebrated voices — and to taste it, too.

A cookbook signing will follow the demonstration, so bring your copies (or pick one up in the shop!) to have them personalized.
