2026 - 05-17 Bake the Book Club: Galette, with Rebecca Firkser + Cheryl Day
Bake from Galette, share your creation, and join Rebecca Firkser + Cheryl Day for conversation and community.
Join us for a special edition of Bake the Book Club as we gather around Galette with author Rebecca Firkser and special guest Cheryl Day.
Bake a galette from the book—sweet or savory—and bring it to share with fellow bakers for a table full of flaky, fruit-filled, cheese-layered, beautifully imperfect creations. Please also bring a serving utensil for your bake. We’ll provide beverages.
Then settle in for an informal conversation with Rebecca and Cheryl about baking, creativity, recipes that last, and the joy of feeding people.
This is part baking club, part cookbook gathering, part chance to spend time with two bakers shaping how we bake today.
Expect good conversation, generous slices, and plenty of inspiration to take home.
This is not a baking class or demonstration. It’s a potluck-style club centered on baking, storytelling, and community.
Coastal Table and Tales will provide beverages, both warm and cold.
